I first travelled to Kyrgyzstan in 2022 and was enchanted by its landscapes and the kindness of its people.

Here I met travel blogger and tour organiser Cynthia, from Journal of Nomads, and we got along so great! Our friendship led us to working together on her platform, which provides adventure tours and travel guides, where community-based tourism is at its heart. I’ve loved learning, writing and documenting the process and I’m so grateful that this has taken me to some incredible spaces, which has included guiding!
